Engineered with die-cast aluminium construction, IP66/IK10 protection, and polyester powder-coated finishes, the range ensures optimal thermal performance and resistance to corrosion. Lighting One of Australia’s Busiest Rail Precincts
At BHP’s Nelson Point rail precinct in Port Hedland, Tigerlight delivered a large-scale LED lighting upgrade replacing ageing 1000 W HPS fittings with more than 550 Megaflood 480 W luminaires. The project lifted average illuminance from 10 lux to 30 lux while using asymmetric T4M optics and 3000 K warm-white light to reduce glare, improve visibility and support environmental objectives. The result is a safer, more uniform and lower-maintenance lighting system engineered for 24/7 heavy rail operations in one of Australia’s harshest industrial environments.
