Tigerlight Striker Series floodlights were selected to illuminate a redeveloped tennis facility in Tamworth, NSW.
The site comprises a total of 13 courts, including an International Tennis Federation (ITF)–standard cushioned acrylic hardcourt show court, illuminated to a 1,000-lux competition standard.
The venue hosted its first ITF Pro Tour event in September 2025.

Luminaires Installed
All luminaires were supplied with 415 VAC input:
- 16 × 480 W Striker Floodlights with L-spigot mounting
- 24 × 720 W Striker Floodlights with L-spigot mounting
- 16 × 960 W Striker Floodlights with L-spigot mounting
Lighter-weight 480 W floodlights were utilised on retrofit poles that could not support the heavier, higher-powered models installed on the new courts.
The 12 standard courts achieved an average of 350 lux, while the show court delivered 1,000 lux broadcast-level illumination, supporting high-level competition

The Solution
The redevelopment of the facility involved the construction of new courts with new lighting infrastructure, as well as the retrofit of existing courts with upgraded luminaires installed on existing light poles.
Ongoing maintenance was a key focus for both the builder and the club. Tigerlight’s design team consolidated all remote drivers into three centrally located, vented, fan-cooled remote cabinets, delivering simplified maintenance access and a clean, uncluttered installation.
Mounting was simplified through the use of rotatable L-spigot mounting brackets, allowing for precise aiming. Importantly, these brackets also concealed power cabling, protecting it from known bird damage in the area and eliminating the need for external anaconda-style cable protection.
