2005
Tigerlight founded in Sydney Australia selling a range of LED lighting including early LED tubes, downlights and LED high bays.
2009
Expanded sales footprint to include representation in Victoria, Queensland, WA & NT
2011
Launched the Corso All-In-One solar path light into the Tigerlight range.
2013
Launched the first-generation Korean made Primo “UFO” style high bay into our range, superseding the older style C.O.B. model high bays.
2015
The first generation Mako area light was designed and launched.
2018
Project Milestone – Delivered major LED floodlighting upgrades to SA Power Networks to statewide electrical substations. Marking the first major specified rollout of high wattage Megafloods.
2019
Appointed our first full time MIES lighting designer
2019
Opened a dedicated WA office, consisting of Warehouse, Sales office, Lighting Design
2020
Commenced the Tailor-Made lighting program, in which Tigerlight assemble and test floodlights, Makos and streetlights in Sydney for custom products, to reduce lead times and offer more solutions to local customers.

2023
Project Milestone – Tigerlight delivered the heavily specified lighting package of over 3,200 largely emergency luminaires to the Covalent Lithium Refinery in Kwinana, WA.

Tigerlight’s tailor-made lighting solution leverages our modular floodlight, streetlight and mako platforms to create highly customised luminaires for projects where standard products don’t quite fit the brief.

Typical options range from 30W to 1440W, depending on the luminaire and project requirements.
Voltage
Configure the luminaire to match the electrical infrastructure of your installation.
Typical options include 12–24VDC, 100–277VAC and 277–480VAC.

Tigerlight offers 16 optical lens options including symmetric and asymmetric distributions with optional backlight control.
CRI
Choose the CRI level based on the visual clarity required for the application.
Typical options include Ra >70, Ra >80 and Ra >90.
Colour Temperature
Select the colour temperature that best suits the operating environment.
Typical options include 2200K, 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, as well as special colours such as Amber, Blue, Red and Green.
Mounting Options
Choose the mounting configuration to suit the installation structure.
Options include U-bracket wall/pole mount, rotatable surface mount, spigot mounts and fixed pole mounts.
Powder coating colour
Luminaires can be finished with durable powder coating to suit project specifications.
Typical options include Graphite Black (RAL9011), Signal Grey (RAL7004) or custom RAL colour matching.
Because Tigerlight controls both the design process and the assembly of bespoke lighting systems, we can respond quickly to project requirements by adjusting optics, colour temperature, mounting configurations and input voltages to suit each application.
For customers, this means fewer compromises, smoother project delivery, and lighting that genuinely fits the purpose. Smaller orders are often assembled from stocked components at our Sydney Northern Beaches facility, allowing for fast turnaround.
For larger or highly specialised projects, fittings are custom manufactured to specifications, with a typical 6–8 week lead time and no minimum order quantity.
